Violin & String Lessons
Masterpiece Music offers Violin & String Lessons to students ages 5 and up in all levels of proficiency. Lessons include Technique, Theory, Reading, Notation & Music Appreciation. We will go over posture, position, finger exercises, scales arpeggios, bow technique and working towards any goals that you may have. Uses Suzuki book method and/or with other methods.
About Erica
Erica has been playing violin & strings for over 29 years & began teaching at the age of 16 to the after school violin programs for elementary and junior high students. Originally from Laredo, TX, She is a multi-award winning violinist and was one of the youngest principal members of the Laredo Philharmonics. After studying music education and theory at North Texas State, she opened a music and fine arts day care in Burbank, CA from 2007-2010. Since then she has worked with several after school music enrichment programs in Southern California and continues to offer private violin and string instruction today.
Erica can be seen in several music videos playing violin with such stars as Randy Travis, and she also has the honor of coaching actor & Broadway star Justin Martin (Simba, The Lion King) to a winning audition on cello as a young Jamie Foxx in the feature film The Soloist.

1 Hour = $75 (Studio Location in Sherman Oaks)
1 Hour = $100 (Your Home)
4 Hour Monthly Block = $260 (Up to $140 in savings)
We offer virtual lessons via ZOOM & other video platforms for COVID safety protocol and convenience, you can come to our studio in Sherman Oaks & we can travel to your location in the Los Angeles area depending on distance and time. Contact us!
